The way Joel and Sarah handled Sophie when she said she didn’t want to go to school and the whole rubric cube distraction was so wholesome!! And since when was Sophie at Secondary ?? Where had the time gone ?? But I hope she’s doing well, enjoying it and has made lots of new friends !!!

sarah is literally incredible. telling us she was once concerned because she didn’t have many school qualifications and then watching her talk so professionally in that meeting, absolutely incredible. I doubt many people with university degrees could present themselves to a team as graciously as she did in this vid.

As someone who works with kids with special needs, I love updates on Sophie’s life and how much she’s grown. Seeing both positive and negative sides to things like morning routines can be really personal so I appreciate you guys sharing it so we can all learn a little bit more about Sophie . Its so refreshing to see a family vlogging channel that actually respects what their kids do and dont want to be filmed. So many parents on these kinds of channels just film regardless of what the kid wants but it makes me so so happy to see how much they respect their kids wishes. I love this channel so so much ❤️‍🩹

i LOVE that Grace chose rugby! its not a typical sport a lot of girls would choose, its heavily male dominated and an intimidating sport within itself at what ever age! so when girls/women choose sports like that i think, great! dismantling stereotypes without even realising some of the time. its inspiring to me as a woman who competes in a male dominated sport, so i love seeing more of this happening with the younger generation! hopefully it continues to grow as I'm sure it will :) you're a good sport Grace!

I never comment but I have to say something to Sarah. You said you didn't know where she got her strength from, but from what I saw watching your videos almost from the beginning and learning/working with children with special needs. You teach her every day to be brave, all of you, are the perfect example of what I learn in class. You act so well with her. She takes all your encouragement and she forges herself, she learns how to be brave. You can be proud of yourself!! Thank you for being who you are with her (and others girls too☺️)

Just an idea for Sophie, if she doesn’t like to go to school as she’s anticipating you can have a calendar and a picture of the item she’s getting or doing and count the days till it happens so she can visually see she won’t miss out on it by going to school :) such a lovely family 💖💖
