Unpopular opinion, I prefer the Soundtrack to II over the first. And almost prefer the movie over the first. Love both though

There where so manny cut out scenes that should have been kept in, one at the start where Kovu catches a bug and then got yelled at by Zira for not killing it, it would have added to Kovu's character that he was just an innocent boy who got courrupted by his mother.
Second one was Nuka's death and the third Zira's
( I always thought something was missing in Zira's death scene because she was smiling when she fell and I was a bit confused, for all this time I thought it was an animation mistake but when I got older I found out that there are deleted scenes.)

For number 4, I wish they kept that. It would have fit perfectly. And for number 5, her death was still technically intentional. Maybe she didn’t intend to fall, but she intentionally accepted her fate deciding she’d rather die than live with Simba.
