Donegal's TIDE Project - VR Experience at Fort Dunree

Donegal Virtual Reality Experience located at Fort Dunree, Inishowen, Co. Donegal.

Two VR Experiences are available at this location:

1) ‘The Storm, The Sea – The Saldanha’
Where in the Napoleonic era, The HMS Saldanha & HMS Talbot took for shelter during strong gales and heavy seas, both heading for Lough Swilly for shelter.

2)‘Beware! Convoy Below’ Virtual Reality Experience
The Virtual Reality Experience takes you back in time to the First World War era in the early 1900’s.
