You can ferment it under room temperature for 2 more weeks after filtering out the grape skins. It will taste way stronger after that. I shared half bottle with my neighbor yesterday. And Mr He and I have already drunk up the rest 🤣 No chance for the secondary fermentation.

The wine you bought is probably the "dry" wine. It is quite bitter and not liked by many.
You can try buying sweet wine separately, just to try which one you like better.
