'What cryptids are in the fallout universe?' Aka: 'How much shit has Wes-Tek made?'

The Wendigo's of Fallout would possibly be interesting

Fallout 76 had such great environmental storytelling and atmosphere

Actually giant sloths we’re once an ancient mammal that existed beside early humans, but eventually went extinct, so that means the radiation basically turned sloths back to their ancient ancestors size

Re: the Jackalope - saw a documentary once that reported that, while Taxidermists are responsible for most of the ones found in museums and fairground displays, that some wild rabbits were found to have been infected with a virus that caused horn-like tumors to grow on their face and head, which may also contributed to "sightings" of Jackalopes in the wild in the past ("and if a virus can do that, why not radiation?" was probably the thought going through the developer's minds at the time).

Dude say what you want about fallout 76, but all the cryptids sound amazing. I hope that the next fallout we get, we get a similar amount of cryptids. I have to admit the world of 76 is pretty encompassing

You know, I haven’t played 76, it doesn’t really look like my kind of game so I probably never will. Everyone knows how bad the launch was, but I’ll be damned if everything that I’ve seen from it in recent years actually doesn’t look all that bad, all the environmental story telling looks good and I’m sure playing with friends could be fun, seems like it’s really made a turn-around.

You can also see the T.A.R.D.I.S in Fallout 2 I think, so Gallifreyans count as aliens?

I wrote a whole dissertation basically on why the Beast of Beckley is a good and thematic creature.

On some other videos comments claiming it was disappointing and lame etc etc.

Basically my massive blurb explains how the storyline it appears in is ENTIRELY veneered around Cryptid hunters hunting a FAKE Cryptid, the Imposter Sheepsquatch.

And that the Beast Of Beckley being just a big wolf in this storyline makes sense thematically.

The Beast of Beckley was a many eyed monstrosity, not described as a wolf at all.

But a storyline about a fake Cryptid? Having a beast of Beckley which is just a big wolf? It’s perfect thematically.

Who’s to say the Beast of Beckley isn’t still out there? A real, actually massive monster.
In fallout verse?

Or perhaps even with all the horrors of fallout, this story, the Beast of Beckley, really was just some child’s imagination running wild in the dark, when he saw a large wolf?

Thunderbirds should be a thing in the Fallout Universe. They're huge birds of prey usually described in folk stories by the Native American tribes.

Also the Sasquatch. I would also say Dogmen count but the Blue Devil from 76 is the closest thing.

Megatherium was a giant sloth that roamed the Americas 10, 000 years ago. In the fallout universe, radiation brought it back.
