As a cashier, I cringe at this, but I'm glad you reacted nicely. I've had people come through with the whole, "this happened to someone else, here's a picture, can I have it cheaper?" And then I have to call over a manager and usually the customer doesn't win and then I get yelled at by the customer...😅

As a Target employee, repackaged items are usually only 30% off, so I wouldn't trust this lady unless you want a really annoyed cashier and manager. Also when items are repackaged they are placed in the clearance section or end cap not in the item's normal location. Real insider secrets, go crazy guys...😒

I work at target and this situation would literally never happen because if it's a repack there is a sticker on it that says "repackage" and has the amount it costs on it as well as a barcode for us to scan that rings it up at a discount. idk how she even knew this was a repack otherwise is she psychic
