It’s come to my attention that she was not baptized and was therefore not technically a Jehovah’s Witness. If I’m not mistaken (and I do make mistakes just like the next guy), she grew up in a Jehovah’s Witnesses household. As far as the controversy surrounding her various claims about other people and the abuse perpetrated by others in the organization, I believe that time will tell and things will come out as true or untrue depending on facts. Whatever view you hold, it’s important not to tear people down who have gone thru trauma and not to dismiss or minimize the trauma of those who haven’t experienced what you have experienced. We all heal differently and react differently. Be kind to everyone who deserves kindness and hold accountable those who deserve consequence.

You're right. This is a different era. When I became a JW (in 1963, at age 15), I don't remember anything about CSA, PIMO's, etc. The congregation I was associated with at the time was rather upscale for JW's. The congregation overseer was one of the finest men I ever met. JW's were so different back then, with a lot more converts than born-ins. I really was looking forward to 1975, but, obviously, was seriously disappointed. The elders claimed they could be "off" a year or two on the date. I waited until 1979, realized I could get old in this "system of things" (which I have) without any retirement plan (which I have not!), add to that the fact that I was very unhappy (but not yet awake), and I knew it was time to leave. Congratulations to all of the others who are learning TTATT, and welcome to freedom!

I had a close friend and ms who seemed a pillar in the congregation. Derald J Tucker in Long Beach Ca. was molesting his daughter from age 5 to 14, he did about 3 months jail time and was back in the congregation. One year later he was knocking on doors on my street. I saw him and yelled him out of the neighborhood. I know 6 child molesters that are Jw's Jason Gorski (elder), Anastashio Alvarez(ms), Eddie Fibres, Jack Scott. This is just Southern Ca., I'm sure it's everywhere

Thing's gonna end in disaster for watchtower. It's easy to see that now. GB were not chosen cause they good taking decisions or being wise. They mostly chosen cause they pioneers. Disaster.

I think this is another thing wrong with them trying to be so secretive. If they wouldn't have posted anything about it Tony could have just faded away . But posting it taking it down and wiping his parts in past video just shined a spotlight on it 😂
