Welcome to Lesson 3 of the multi-part series on Zotero. We continue from Lesson 2 in which saw how we can capture a variety of digital assets and bring them inside Zotero to build and advance your personal knowledge repository over time.

In this lesson i.e. Lesson 3, we will explore how to take both item and standalone notes in Zotero. The new Zotero 7 has added several interesting features to enrich note taking and I will demonstrate these to you in this video. We will also see how to automatically create notes using PDF annotations and also by selecting text on web.

If you are into note taking, creating standalone notes in Zotero provides a super easy way to document your thoughts without the need to use any fancy note taking software.
