He kept his individual skill, took Zonic's calm demeanor and Gla1ve's massive brain. DEVVE MY GOAT

device has that "having fun" boost

Dang device seems to be a much better IGL than baitF and most importantly he really knows how to properly use stabbi.

as much as i hate stabbi (i was a big fan of heroic), my love for dev1ce outweighs the hate, great to see danish cs back again, i may be expecting too much but i really hope astralis would go to the playoffs the next major

I’ve seen amazing results from Astralis before with all the previous line ups from When Blame and Konfig joined all the way to now. They all happened at the start of the assembled roster and the furthest they’ve made it was to semifinals. So I’m not going to jump on the Astralis are back train yet. BUT I will say, that if they play with such certainty and poise I truly believe (and hope) that they can go all the way

I didn't see a future when i head Device was gonna step up to become the new IGL for Astralis, but ohh boy was i wrong...

Everyone seems to talk about Device and his calling and I'm here just impressed with how good Jabbi and Stavn looked during this match, to win tournaments Astralis needs these two to perform the way they did today, GG.

"Device finding his form".. What world you live on? Device has never lost it.

Looks like the new coach and device have been cooking. Everyone looks way more comfortable in their roles I feel like blame had a very structured game around him and now I see jabbi hitting more of the type of plays that made him great on heroic as well as seeing device do well is cool. His mental health has been a problem in the past though. Hope he worked past that and hope this isn’t another electronic c9 situation.

Theoretically if astralis go on to win the major this year or next, would device be considered the goat of cs?

I don't wanna get ahead of myself as I always do, but damn what a start! I was struggling to understand why people didn't have faith in Device as an IGL tbh, IGLs don't just spawn out of nowhere, at some point you have to make that transition, and if anyone can do it, Device can.

Thank you for providing this wild tribe a ticket back to swamp

I could tell from their first match that Astralis is a completely different beast. I think they might win the whole tournament or at least make the grand final.

Dev1ce is back baby. And the best part is he’s still fragging even after IGLing

oh, this is how clean game looks like

Indeed I thought that BlameF was doing okay but the turning point was the game against New Ence, where he was just 100% READ by Gla1ve.
Another thing that puzzled me was that BlameF kept picking maps that Astralis consistently lost on like Mirage. Only now I realize that he did that because he played in a position, where he could get easy frags and he didn't give shit about the rest.
He seems like a nice guy but he should definitely stay away from IGL'ing.

If Liquid win against Faze in the quarters, we are looking at a Cadian vs Stabbi duo matchup in the semis. Both sides with something to prove and emotions will definitely be running high. This will probably be game of the tournament.
