Oh NO Tim, never too late, we are 52 and 56 we wish about a lot of things stuff, we started YouTube just over 1 year ago and we will not ever look back, we work really hard to share our styles and ways, this is as good a time for us to share our skills and knowledge.
We are just filming and sharing what it is we are already doing each day already everyday of the week, what a fun time making the videos is easy compared to our work, that is tough in our opinions. Thank you for the video, Lance & Patrick.

LOVE THIS!!
❗10 THINGS TO AVOID IF YOU WANT TO GROW❗
#1 - LEANING IN TOO LATE
#2 - NOT BEING CONSISTENT
#3 - NOT CHOOSING A NICHE
#4 - NOT CAPTURING VIEWERS
#5 - CARING ABOUT THE NUMBERS
#6 - NOT MAKING LONGFORM CONTENT
#7 - QUANTITY OVER QUALITY
#8 - CARING TOO MUCH ABOUT THE ALGORITHM
#9 - USING THE KEYWORD TAG BOX
#10 - MISTAKES ARE NOT OKAY

What are YOU still working on?

For me, getting started because of reasons #1, #2 (fear of not being consistent), and believing #10.

the strangest part for me was stepping in front of the camera in a public place and not feeling self conscious

Great insight! I spent YEARS just “putting out content” just now things are starting to click and feel like I’m heading in the right direction.

I like how all the youtubers that help us grow our channel, collaborate with one another instead of tearing each other down and waiting to be the best at the expense of others. I really liked it 💜

One of the biggest mistakes I’ve made is taking other people’s advice too seriously. Even if someone is a proven expert, they’re human and not always right. It’s good to heed advice, especially from those ahead of you, but it’s also good to think for yourself and do your own experiments.

This is an awesome series. Please do more like this. It is really encouraging to see big time YouTubers saying they made mistakes, saying they have regrets, and saying the same things I have been saying to myself. Thanks for sharing!👍🙏

The biggest problem is not starting. We procrastinate and try to figure everything out before starting.

I started a YouTube channel in 2009 and didn’t start producing content till 2017.
