Enzo Ferrari declared it “The most beautiful car in the world”.

Carthropology reports on the iconic Jaguar XKE. Not one coddled in a private collection or a museum, but one that is still a daily driver... by an owner who bought it new 48 years ago. At the moment this report was made, "Automania" an art exhibit on the automobile was displaying a similar XKE at the MOMA.
An iconic automobile for display, as art... or for use as an extension of our dreams and physical abilities. These two dichotomous visions of the stealthy Jaguar XKE are highlighted in the report. But in the end functionality and usability are favored by Carthropology and explored in the report.
So many of these automobiles are being absorbed into collections and museums that the real rarity is the car that remains in active use. For those who have never driven a jaguar or who still want to own one, this report offers insights that are becoming all too rare.
This is a report that still expresses one man's enjoyment of the driving experience in a way that no museum exhibit will ever be able to capture...

PS: Stay passed the end credits and there is a "Bonus" section where you can eaves drop in on an explaination for why the 3 series Jaguar is still an under appreciated standard bearer of the XKE lineage.... For enthusiasts only!

Enjoy!
