The character comparisons are unbelievable, Ironhide took a direct Blast from a cosmic rust gun and stayed alive for a decent amount of time before dying. Bulkhead barely took a shot from a vietcon and went down

Ironhide is stronger bulkhead because it the 1st movie he was shot by starscream and still was not that hurt and in the 2nd movie he survived being damaged and escaped the explosion and in the 3rd movie he survived being shot 3 times but he died:(

Ironhide is also a well written character he had a lot of personality in the Bay verse and he became my favorite character from the Bayverse even though I didn’t like the way he was killed off

Ironhead would win in almost any engagement if you think about it bulk head only has 2 weapons and is very slow

Bulkhead should’ve gotten experience point. He tells stories about the wreckers and even shows symptoms of ptsd in several episodes regarding the scraplets, watching an entire unit succumb to toxen exposure, and saying “You have no idea the things he’s done” when regarding Breakdown. He was also a laborer before joining the Autobot Army, and again being a prominent member of the Wrecker Unit, which was essentially a Spec Ops unit.
Ironhide has never mentioned anything regarding his last other than recognizing Starscream. You could argue he’s been on Earth since the Vikings and WW2 but we all know that was forced in. Ironhide, like many Bayverse characters has no development nor character aside from his cool personality. J
