Love that even though Matt is so shy & polite that he had the fortitude to stand up to coach. Even when he asked if he could marry Julie & Eric said no. Matt’s like oh we’re already doing it, this is just a courtesy. I was like dang. Of course Eric was just being a Dad but he knew Julie was legally an adult & better it be Matt than some loser.

i loved the point that even sensing an impending argument, Coach Taylor threw Matt off-stride by correcting his grammar. i laughed out loud with that...

Saracen just needs to earn coach's trust, he'll be fine. Any honorable dad would make that plainly obvious to a kid interested in his daughter. The way it outta be!

Mouth's off to his Head Coach about dating his Daughter.

Jesus the level of stupidity.

Better move by Saracin would've been(considering coach Taylor's personality) - "I'd like to ask your permission to date your daughter."
If Taylor has enough faith in Saracin to lead the team, it's not a huge stretch to believe he'd be ok with the situation. In a way, it's actually beneficial to him as a father. This is a kid he sees, evaluates, & keeps track of educationally speaking, everyday. Not a bad deal if you're a father who wants to know if he can trust the teenage boy dating his daughter.
Just kidding! You can never trust a teenage boy dating your daughter! Because if Taylor says "no", the two kids are just gonna keep seeing eachother while trying to hide it from him. I'd go for the first option for everybody's sake.
