The treatment CC has been receiving is disgusting. The transition to the WNBA isn't nearly as significant as the jump to the NBA. The WNBA should be welcoming this young lady with open arms given the notoriety she's brought to the women's game. Furthermore, woman's NCAA basketball is so much more competitive now than it was even 10 years ago. There is a reason UConn isn't winning 4 in a row anymore. It's sad to watch a bunch of WNBA vets bagging on this young talent for absolutely no reason. If not jealously, why else would they be speaking out like they are? Lift women up, don't put them down and shame on them for setting such a poor example. Is this what you want to tell other young rising stars? Achieve great things and we'll tear you down?
