At Mobile Reviews Eh, we base our reviews on actual usage. This means if a case is shockproof, we’re going to drop it. We don’t pay much attention to the fancy marketing words because seriously how many really care that this part of the case is made from state of the art Plexi-karbon-mantium TPU? I personally just want to know if that rubber part will help me use my iPhone in one hand. So that’s how I do my reviews.

After all that, we rate our cases in a similar fashion so that we ensure we’re giving you guys the best, most consistent reviews and comparisons. Alright, lets get started.

#5 - Sedio Dilex Pro

I’m a big fan of this case. The Seidio Dilex Pro is a super slim iPhone 6/6Plus case. The design of the case really helps with the usability of your iPhone in one hand as the notches in the case line up close to your finger locations.

This slim case will not provide much protection despite having two layers to the case as our iPhone 6 Plus took a tumble from about three feet and it mauled one of our corners.

As a side note, the belt holster that fits Dilex Pro is quite nice, especially the release mechanism and can be used with other cases like the Incipio Dual Pro.

#Urban Armor Gear

This is one of the more popular iPhone cases out there. It offers 4ft worth of drop protection and is one of the skinniest iPhone cases out there. It feels very well-built and some like the look of the case. I personally don’t care much for fake screws, but that’s just me.

The edges are a little higher on this case and viewers have complained that it makes the iPhone a little more slippery than other cases which we totally agree. Dust/debris protection is a little lower than others as there are cutouts on the back of the case that exposes your iPhone. The buttons area also aren’t fully covered.

#3 Tech 21 Classic Shell

The Tech 21 Classic Shell is a decent all-around case. We feel quite comfortable dropping our iPhone in this case and if you’re still into using your iPhone in one hand, this is probably one of the better cases to get.

There isn’t much else to say about this case other than we feel that the look of the case could probably be tidied up a bit. We’re not too fond of how certain parts of the case don’t look uniform but this is a minor thing. We have the cover version of the classic shell and we’re really not too fond of it.

#2 Thule Atmos X3

This was the best case in November’s Top 5 but has been bumped down by the Griffin Survivor Core. Now, I do have to apologize as we don’t physically have this case anymore as we’ve given them all away so I’m using older footage…

This case keeps your iPhone 6 feeling thin. There is a good blend of different rubber types and one of the best things about this case is that it can be dropped from a height of 6 ft.

The buttons on the case start off a little tougher to use and they ease up over time and some viewers have complained that the case isn’t grippy enough.

#1 Griffin Survivor Core

The Survivor Core is incredibly slim and protective. It is one of the thinnest iPhone cases that we’ve reviewed and it greatly improves the 1-handed usage of your iPhone. The corners of the case also add to the handling of the case and if you’re an iPhone gamer, this case will help lessen the numb fingers that occur when spending hours playing whatever you play.

Now, I do have to say that this case will scratch incredibly easy. Now, for some it may be a deal breaker but given that the back of the case is transparent, you don’t really see the scratches as much. The buttons do start off a little tougher to use but ease up over time.

Excellent choice! For ones the iPhone 6plus is a big phone. A little difficult to handle but I felt the grip case has made it easier to hold onto to the phone on one hand usage. Have a prosperous new year!

I have the survivor core with a black carbon fiber slick wrap & it looks sexy. since slick wraps give you two plastic screen protectors I put one on the back of the case to prevent scratches & it looks great. Love the case only thing I don't like is how tough the buttons are but hopefully they ease up over time.

Hey, I own the Urban Armor Gear Case and I think that it is the 2nd version of it because on my case these riffles (? I hope you know what I mean) are rubberized too. This rubber adds a good grip if you are using the 6+ in one hand and I'm very happy with the case.

MobileReviewsEh Can't wait for your findings regarding screen protectors!  Made the mistake of purchasing a Tech21 Anti Glare protector at the time of my phone upgrade at the Apple Store and it sucks.  I thought technology on Anti Glare films would've improved by now but it seriously degrades the optical quality of the phone.  Now I just have it on till I figure out what to put on the screen... OR if a screen protector is even necessary?!
