I’m a retired corporate executive and young for my age at 63. The biggest difference I see in women today compared to 20 years ago is nearly every available woman out there has an activist mindset. You're absolutely correct. I've always thought this way with how I viewed people. I have female cousins that are young, married and some expecting kids. Their happy. Why? They have family values. Always had educational goals. Aren't stupid enough to go out barhopping randomly, bitching on social media, trying to look the prettiest, trying to be a celebrity without actual acting in Hollywood, list goes on. The fact is common sense is offensive to the wrong people. There's a difference between being bad judgmental and REASONABLE. Be and do whatever you want? No, not anything. You should have reasonable motives as well. Doing things the right way seems boring but in the long run its a solid, fulfilling, non fantasy life. Doing things the wrong way like partying too much and hook ups, social media immaturity will be pleasurable in the moment but their life entirely is pathetic, meaningless, and ongoing dissatisfaction of life. A younger woman I got involved with kept her 'real' lifestyle hidden from me. I thought her troubles came from her family and the low rents they allowed around but I recently found out that she is a boozer herself. All the effort, $$, etc. I put into 'stablizing' her has been a waste of time.
