Thank you so much for sharing your process. I am very new to watercolor and have been trying to find something that does just this -- offers the process. It is so hit-and-miss when you are self-taught, so this gives me direction. I appreciate that you tell us what brushes you use, and why. Again, incredibly helpful. I’m finding this fascinating! So different from the urban sketching videos I’ve been watching, where the aim is to finish in one sitting (not managed that yet. Still haven’t managed to simplify things yet so trying to put too much detail in.I’m hoping to get to one of yours and Toby’s workshops. Don’t have transport so probably won’t make Lower Slaughter but hoping to make Bath in November. Thanks again for this. I’m loving it!

Ah - I see now why you start with the lighter colours in Part 1. My greens were too dark (I didn't have/couldn't match) the ones you used and they were too dark/garish and now the second layer is struggling to show through - Hopefully when its dry it will be a b bit better?
