Ive spent countless hours in the woods alone. Hunting and camping. I preferred it that way. And this was in the days before cell phones existed. Yeah, it was pretty scary sometimes while camping alone in the dark. Miles from civilization. I once got desporiately lost in a swamp at night. My flashlight had malfunctioned and it was pitch black and freezing cold. As i waded through water that just keept getting deeper and deeper i was soaked and holding my rifle above my head in case i stepped in a hole. After about 2 hours of wading i finally came out on dry land. Soaked to the bone and my rubber boots full of ice cold water. I came out in a thicket and decided to walk a short distance and wait for daylight before finding my way out. It was so dark i couldnt read my compus. I stood there shivering for a long time until i could see daylight creeping in. When it got light enough i could see to make my way out, i took one step and kicked something that almost made ne fall forward. Thats when i heard a faint splash. I had kicked a stone into an old well ground level with no cover over it. The thick under brush had camouflaged it and if id tried to walk out of the woods in the dark rather than waiting for daylight i may have never been seen again. True story.

I live way off the beaten path in the Rockie Mountains. The nearest town to me is about 45 minutes away. I’m not a lover of people in general especially these days so I really like living in the middle of nowhere. I never wander the woods at night because of all the nocturnal night life like bears, cougars, wolves, wolverines, etc. It’s just not a good idea. I see enough of them during the day as they wander through my property. I ride my horses frequently and always take bear spray to dissuade the odd curious predator. Never in all my years have I met anything “supernatural” or weird unless it’s some weird backpacker who has wandered off the beaten path. It’s the humans that wander through my property that scare me the most. They can be very unpredictable and extremely strange. Predatory animals will always let you know where you stand with them and are a hell of a lot less scary than some people.

16:20 How could anyone say that this footage is one of the, "scariest creature encounters", they've ever seen? Those are just two people walking through the woods. The footage is clear enough to see that they are wearing clothing. You can see that they are wearing jackets and pants. You can literally see where the bottom of the coat ends, and clearly see that the coat and pants are of different hues. There are even visible wrinkles in the fabric. And that, supposed, deer slung over their arm looks to be nothing more than an article of clothing that he is carrying. The only way someone could watch this footage and see a Bigfoot is if that person wants it to be a Bigfoot so badly that it is seriously affecting their perception. They are seeing what they want to see. I have seen some footage that is interesting and hard to say for certain what is being shown. But this isn't one of them. This is clearly a couple of people walking through the woods. Nothing more.

Omfg that wire cable in the woods is so dangerous & deadly !! This same thing actually happened in my home state VT, a teen aged boy was on his four wheeler and didnt see a wire cable that was deliberately put up by the land owner and the boy literally was decapitated 😕🙁😣😞😡☹️..For someone to put up a wire cable for the purpose of causing harm-death to people riding on their land is just horrendous!!! Post your land with No trespassing signs yes, call the authorities yes, but putting up a dangerous wire cable that is sharp and çan decapitate people NO!!! Thats so wrong on every level!!!

And this is why I never set foot in the woods without a gun. In fact, I never leave my home without one. So, for those with evil intent or really stupid pranksters, know this, I won’t hesitate for one second to defend my family, my pet, or my life with sudden deadly force (in that order… yes, I love my dog more than myself).

As an avid outdoorsman, spending several hundred hours a year in the woods alone...kinda. If they find my body out there one day, it will I guarantee be surrounded by a lot of spent brass. I never leave the house without a firearm with multiple magazines, and my woods pack also has a spare firearm with multiple magazines..and I never go into the wilderness without my woods pack.
