My dad was a mechanic and owned his own business. He had 3 full time guys working for him until he had his first heart attack at age 32. He rented the building and had to move out after the heart attack. Everything was moved to our house and he worked from there with myself and my older brother assisting. Seven days a week we were swamped. You couldn’t go home because the business was at our home. He literally worked his self to death at age 36 taking care of peoples vehicles. I remember only one vacation during that time. To take a day off was impossible. Take care of yourself Brian. We all need you but you have to be alive for it to matter.

Great example of what it looks like when someone CARES about their trade and their quality of work and the desire to do the right thing the right way.
Keep up the great work, very inspirational and a great help to to a lot of people.
And yes, by all means take a break. We all need a mental reset once and a while. ENJOY the vacation!!

I have never, ever heard of anyone on their deathbed saying "I wish I would have spent more time at work". Relax, take some time for you and your family, and resume when you're ready. Thanks for all the great videos!!

I can see your stress. You did the right thing to take a break and spend time with your family. Hire a couple of good mechs and make a fortune on the auto situation. Keep those videos coming. You've helped me tremendously to maintain my Fx4 and I am grateful for all your help. Best to you and yours, Bro.

We just did a Ford 5.4 3 valve engine using your OCD videos. A compliment to you and your work acumen Brian. These jobs turned out to be 100% and customers are elated. I’m a Toyota/Honda specialist and learned so much from you on Fords. Thank you sir!

Congrats on the new family member. Sounds like you did and doing a great job raising your kids. I'm sure moms involved as well. Learning a trade is very important. When I came out of the Army in the mid-sixties, I took a 4 yr. apprenticeship in Pipefitting, plumbing, steam fitting, welding, ect. Even though I ended up a Millwright, I can't imagine how much money I've saved over my life knowing how to fix stuff myself. I bought a 2020 Lincoln nautilus just before the madness started, the dealer wants to buy it back and offered what I paid for it. Crazy world!!!

Brian, Great to hear that you are spending this kind of time with your son. Training him and teaching him the Mechanical / Technical trade. Too many of our young people want to become Computer Geeks now days. Soon we won't have enough people in the trades at all. I think he made a good choice to follow his fathers footsteps. You must be proud.
