I am glad to have found this video. All the others are pushy about what has to be done. This one is relaxed and informal to a point that it is easy and comfortable to learn. I do need to get a nylon string acoustic cause playing on a steel string gets a little harsh.

E Phrygian = E F G A B C D

E Phrygian Dominant = E F G# A B C D

Phrygian is the 3rd mode of the Major Scale

Phrygian Dominant is the 5th mode of the Harmonic Minor scale

No words to say thank you for your video, it has allowed me to have a peek of how to use scales in a piece of music, I knew that this was the only way to play a piece of music like this particular flamenco song, you did a great job explaining how to apply it. I am an amateur player; I usually play pop music by ear. I wish I could find more videos like yours in YouTube but I have not been that lucky finding more videos that explain clearly how to apply scales. This is going to become my first flamenco song because now I know what I am doing and not have to memorize the notes. Thank you again!!
