Vivaldi - Concerto for Violin in D Major, 'Grosso mogul', RV 208

Vivaldi’s Violin Concerto in D major, RV 208, survives in three manuscripts, of which one, written before 1717, contains the title Grosso mogul. The title refers to Akbar, probably the greatest of the Mughal emperors, who ruled Indian lands in the 16th century.
