Chelsea have signed Fofana for 80 million.

In my opinion it’s a very good signing. But 80 million for center back is a lot. Let’s be honest his impact wouldn’t be like Virgil van dijk.

But again I do understand why Chelsea want him, he’s aggressive, he’s fast, he’s young and he’s good tackler.
So it makes sense why Chelsea want to sign him, there aren’t a lot of center back who are that good at his age.

But the whole reason why his value is 80 million is because of his value to the club. He had a 5 year contract with Leicester and he’s was the main man for their project and you don’t easily sell the best player of your team.

Most clubs would sell fofana in a second if someone offered them even 50 million but the fact Leicester value him high the price will be high
