Nidri Beach Walk, Lefkada, Greece, Dimosari River

You can reach the Nidri beach easily, which is located on the northern side of the village. It is only a few walks from the village center, from the main road lead some alleys to the beach. The coast of Nidri is one of the most developed beaches on Lefkada island, with many services and facilities. There can be rented sunbeds and parasols, in the background beach bars and taverns are waiting for the visitors. If you prefer your own parasols, of course, you can use it. There are a few places under the trees, where you can find some natural shade. If you want to sit down here, you must arrive in the morning hours, because these are the most popular places.

Interesting fact, that the small islet is called Madouri, which is exactly facing the beach. Behind this islet, you can notice the famous Skorpios island, which was the private property of Onassis for decades. Several years ago Skorpios was sold, and now it belongs to a Russian billionaire.
