The jw's steal everything that might give you a little happiness in this life. No room for family traditions or celebrating the birth of their savior... the fact that there was a big party for this child when he was born ought to be some sort of an indication that there is nothing condemning about Christmas. Nobody ever said Dec 25th was the actual day... jw's are just ignorant to history and things like the Liturgical Calendar. Christmas isn't about other people judging, telling you what do do/say/act... Don't let this group into your life, they are the fun police, and you will be miserable.

At the time I didn't see the blocking of Christmas as a further denial if Jesus's status.
