[Virtual Hike] Ho Chi Minh Trail, Black's Beach, San Diego (January 2022)

DISCLAIMER: Unless you are an experienced hiker, please do not attempt this trail. Before doing the video, I had to help a family down the final part - the kids were crying and the mother fell on the baby she was carrying on her back (the baby is fine but it was an unnecessary risk), the father twisted his ankle as a bigger child slipped out of his hands. The trail is in fairly good condition right now but this is NOT a trail for unexperienced hikers. I run this trail frequently and see a lot more people getting hurt than I care to see - not only are you putting yourself at risk but also the people helping you.

This trail is also known as the Saigon Trail or the La Jolla Trail. It can be accessed from a neighborhood in La Jolla Village or from the Torrey Pines Gliderport and ends up at Black's Beach. Stay to the right to hit the nude beach, stay to the left and you end up at Mushroom House.
