Just discovered your channel. I am a CPC, CPMA for 20 years now...I am self employed so I contract with doctors. I actually do coding when the doctor mess up and the claim denies so I end up actually fixing it...I also do surgery authorizations among other know the answer to the 99214 situation but I respect your job and not here to show off....Lol... Just wanted to poke my head in and say Hi to a fellow coder..

I went to school for med billing and coding back in 2008. I never got to the coding part of the job but I always wondered where I would be if I stuck with it. I haven’t worked in the medical field since 2009.

I’m studying now for my CPC and would love to work from home and not be stuck to a headset taking a hundred calls a day. Do you think there still a good amount of opportunities for coders just starting out or is AI taking over this profession? Thank you. God bless you
