I watch Breaking Bad, The Shield and a few anime over and over again. It's like replaying the same game you enjoy to get that dopamine hit on all of the big beats of the story.

There is something very comforting about watching shows repeatedly.

Boondocks was probably the funniest show Adult Swim had ever had at the time. Never gets old, I could watch it every night on replay.

Batman cartoons, Ben 10, and House MD are what I’m playing most of the time. I love finding new details

A lot of shows are made to be rewatchable, especially sitcoms. That's why syndication is so important. Sitcoms are supposed to be comfort food in digital format. Like a warm hug from Grandma right before she gives you some sweets. And with the serialization boom in the 2000's till now, alot of series are packed with mystery, and interesting lore baked in, which requires multiple viewings to get the full picture. I guess my point is, for the most part TV shows being infinitely rewatchable is the medium working as intended
