i've long been an ableton user with good enough knowledge of nuendo and then from around 2013 invested into 10.5 and enjoying what i'm getting ....(Except the loss of the floating transport bar)...but have never used the arranger track since i was mostly working in ableton and it was as easy as pie....but this now takes the cake, plus your explanation worked perfectly as i applied to my own project....muchos gracias

If a solo starts before the beat or carries on after the beat, surely this part will be cut off using the arranger?

When I was using Cubase 6 I used the arranger track often. Most DAW's have something similar but tbh Cubase does this better

Hi guys, not used this yet, but I’m guessing you could record say, intro, verse, chorus all as different tracks in small bar timed sections. Then use arranger track to repeat them into a full song? Also after flattening the tracks into a full song, can you reapply arranger track if needs be to rearrange the same song?
