My ACE TRAINS Britannia Loco has never been a strong performer despite having the motor replaced in 2018 with I presume the same make of motor and once again is being sent off for attention and hopefully a different make of motor .This video shows the performance of the Brit with the ACE TRAINS BLACK V for compared illustration .Has anyone else had problems with motors in ACE TRAINS Express Passenger Loco,s ?

I don't have experience in trains and I wouldn't be at all surprised if you have thought of these things already, however I enjoy trying to fix things that don't work properly. Almost all small motors are made in china and I would imagine they would have fairly consistent performance. Assuming this I would be looking elsewhere to see where the motors power is being wasted. Like gears meshing incorrectly, tight bearing not letting wheels rotate smoothly. Undersized wiring could be limiting the current flow too, but seems unlikely. Hope you get it sorted as it's frustrating when things don't work properly.
