I think this colony is doomed... crazy high mite count

After a full round of OAV treatments and then a full six weeks of apivar strips, the mite counts are out of this world. This colony is just overrun with mite. We are going to try to save it, but they might be doomed.

Apiguard seems to work really well for us, our mite levels were low this year compared to last.We treated in Aug last year and used vapourised oxalic around December and again early spring.

Oh boy... I got about that many off when I sugar dusted an entire box. Sorry about that load.

Keep your head up. . What I did though also after i thought my counts were high was use Formic. My hives got Apivar, OA, and then Formic this year. Hate Mites. .

You should treat all hives with OA every time you teat that hive because of bee drift
