Just found your channel through this video and I love how you describe your reads! I read The Seven Year Slip this month as well and LOVED LOVED LOVED it! I was not expecting it to be as wonderful as it was. I've been getting into romance books this year and this blew all the others I've read out of the water.

I know this is an older video but i just found your channel.. you are reading a lot of the same books as me.. i just started reading romance in 2024 so i am behind all the big booktubers.. I read Beach Read and The Seven Year Slip in February.. i loved Seven Year Slip but the girl, January, in Beach Read really annoyed me.... she blamed everything on her parents over and over thru the whole book... yes her dad cheated on her mom for years and had a mistress.. but January would say how much her mom and dad loved her and took care of her her whole life - yet she didnt trust her mom and hadnt spoken to her in over a year.. somehow she blamed both of her parents for who she was.. she was just too whiny for my liking... her boyfriend was an awesome guy.... but if he was too quiet for an hour or two ... or if he said something a little off... or didnt respond to her text, etc etc etc.. suddenly her world was ending - he broke up with her; etc.. poor guy couldnt even have an off day or a bad day.. i felt the relationship was too onesided..

Beach Read was my first book by Emily Henry.. im looking forward to trying another..
