Innovation Journeys 2020: The drivers of economic recovery and growth

This roundtable discussion from the first session of Innovation Journeys 2020 - co-produced by Imperial Business Partners and MIT Industrial Liaison Program, with BT - features Professor Jonathan Haskel (Imperial College Business School and Monetary Policy Committee member for the Bank of England), Dr Joseph Coughlin (Director of the MIT AgeLab) and Aireen Omar (President of RedBeat Ventures, part of AirAsia Group). The panel is chaired by Michael Schrage from MIT Sloan School of Management.

The panel discuss their observations on the trajectory of the COVID-19 pandemic from a macro-economic outlook, the impacts on people and societies, and the ways in which industries will need to adapt and change their offer in order to weather the challenges and seize the opportunities.
