The first part sounds like BF is trying to give Mickey some hope while Mickey's venting but the second one is more of him saying "I can't take it anymore!!" While BF is still trying to help but then Mickey spirals and can't listen/hear BF anymore

The story behind this mod: Mickey lost all of his friends and got depressed because he doesn’t have anyone to look up to or spend time with anymore. Then, Mickey bumps into Boyfriend and he changes his world for him in this mod.
