What’s amazing about this, as a chargers fan, is realizing that how we are currently playing with Harbaugh…. Anthony Lynn wanted to do exactly this, he tried to do this with Tyrod. And at the time, only Aaron Rodgers was better at protecting the football than him, statistically.

he just didn’t have the experience or tools to do it, and his QB ended up on the bench. Herbert took over and his vision evaporated as the team was clearly a “Herbert” team going a different direction.

Then Staley happened. No comment on that.

Now it’s full circle back to Lynn’s vision for the team. Run the ball, bend don’t break defense, and protect the football with smart offense.
