I closed my moderately aggressive account with wahed after 5 months of absolutely no gain. I assumed then it all was in line with the Islamic laws. You have a very valid point in regard to the legitimacy of assets. Thanks for the advice and clarification .

Had an account with them for about two years, thru the covid 2020 pump and I barely made any gains, on top of that the expense ratio of 1% is absurd. Closed and rolled my funds elsewhere, very disappointing. Didn't even know the other points you made, thank you for sharing this.

I found the part about the management fees particularly striking, it should be made clear what the total amount in fees you will be paying for the product without having to do additional research. In the case of Wahed Robo advisor you are paying nearly as much in management fees as you would with an actively managed fund with a financial advisor.

Valuable .Still I wish you consider looking back at currencies trade .As there are fatwas that prohibit doing it as mean to gain wealth, and only make it permitted for the necessity (like changing geography ) .Of course we are talking of world where money had real intrinsic value .
