2015 - 2023 Dodge Challenger Key Fob Not Detected - How To Start With Dead, Bad Or Broken Key Fob

The Dodge Challenger owner's manual has the following information on starting your Challenger with a dead or broken remote key fob - showing the message Key Fob Not Detected :

If the Dodge Challenger ignition switch does not change with the push of a button, the key fob may have a low or depleted battery. In this situation, a back up method can be used to operate the Challenger's ignition switch. Put the nose side (side opposite of the emergency key) of the key fob against the START/STOP ignition button and push to operate the Dodge Challenger ignition switch.

Omg tyvm for this! My key fob battery died again, only lasting a few months. I guess I have crappy batteries. I found this video luckily before my stepdad left the house to bring me the other key fab. 👍

Mine 2015 rt was broke in on the sunroof only the sunroof key dosent detected i tried to start with the key fob push button it dosent work too 😢

Oh my lord. I knew about the key in the fob to get in the door, so i did it and my alarm started blaring at 6am. I couldn't figure out how to stop it. I'm sure my neighbors love me right now.
