NOTE: If the creator of the "Zyl X050" fantasy chip idea requests that this video be taken down, I will do so.
A more serious attempt to mimic the sound of @/Zylenxx's "Zyl X050" fantasy chip. This one specifically uses a "dummy operator" trick to give the illusion of a 32-step wavetable.
In hindsight, I think I could have done these:
- Pick a better song.
- Mix the track better.
Done with a bunch of Sytrus instances in FL Studio 12.
