LeAnn Rimes - But I do Love You by Mari-Leigh Painter

Mari-Leigh is 20 years old, lives in Brackenfell and completed her studies in 2011 at COPA (Campus of Performing Arts) in Cape Town. She passed her subjects, "Music Theory, Repertoire Development, Music Culture, Music Business, Technical Development, Aural, Session Styles, Sight Reading, Stage Craft, Keyboard Technique and Live Performance Workshop" with praise. She is currently a fulltime artist/performer with big dreams and a bright future.

She started singing at the very young age of 5 years old and also has a huge love for dancing, drama and theatre. In 2004 she joined the Three Dimension Theatre Company, now called the Fresh Theatre Company and started with formal dance training at the Erna Ackerman School of Dancing. In both 2007 and 2008 she achieved WP Colours in Hip Hop dancing and in June 2009 she also achieve WP Colours for Solo Vocal singing and was chosen to perform at the South African Championships - Performing Arts in Rustenburg where she achieved her SA Colours.

Mari-Leigh has a unique voice and do cover versions of various Pop, Rock, Country and Blues music. She is currently busy with her own original CD and hope to have it done by the end of this year.
