while not a tutorial by any means, this info has helped me create this kind of aesthetic more than any other tutorial has. really nice ideas for edge detection.
idk about the deletion mesh though seems a wee bit whack to me, but I can't say I haven't done similar things before lol.

This is great! I'm curious how they anti-alias the lines. Do they just use the built-in SMAA?

How do you generate the mask texture? That would be painful to do by hand no? Unless you have very few of these textures?

I haven't explored rendering/shading/lighting aspects in Unity yet. Just wondering how computationally expensive is this technique and if it is ideal for a small mobile indie point and click 3d adventure game? (With emphasis on Mobile)
