When Tim purchased his 1964 MGB in 1965, little did he know it would follow him throughout his entire life, from his early years, to his honeymoon up to today (and he's still married). Watch and listen to the story of his favorite roadster as told through the steady hands of Classic Motor Films.

Beautiful B. She has a nice raspy tone. I’m just completing my ‘66 and can only hope it will be as nice as yours.

You had me shedding tears of joy on this one. Married in ‘63, a black ‘63 MGB was our first car;traded a VW in to buy it. We autocrossed and rallied as members of a local sports car club. I wish I still had that B (and the VW too!) I’m 82 but still driving a sports car- a 2019 Miata MX5. Thanks for bringing back some great memories for me.

I love your 64 whatever Cam you put in it combined with the Exhaust has a fantastic Note coming out of the TailPipe i’ve owned one B for 14 years i had it roadworthy and ready to go that car had so many Memories of my life inSouthFlorida and way too many trips up and down U.S1 in the Florida Keys nothing better than a Sunny Florida day and hauling Ass in a MG with the top down and a Radio playing i’ve also Owned a 53 TD, 55 TF 1500, 64 Sprite (Spridget) and i’m been eyeballing a few XKE and some of the XK 120 and Big Healey Kits even being a Purist at heart i’m coming up on60 years of age and i kind of like the thought of a new Drivetrain and Frame plus some of the “new” Gadgets like Blue tooth Phone capability, Air Conditioning, plush Leather seats, Classic styling but even the lower maintenace of a Fiberglass body and the simplicity of going Nationwide being able to pull into a Major Autoparts store and finding Parts to make repairs a simplistic fix as opposed to every place i’ve ever lived becoming involved with the Local British Supply Chain and Repair facilities ( Which are Enjoyable good people but i do like getting out and visiting new areas in a fun Vehicle or Motorcycle and although i’ve had my share of PracticalHondas, Toyotas, Nissans, and Chevy, and Fords they can be boring BTW Moss Motors does do a wonderfull job of helping all of us keeping ours on the Road and Happy and i’ve always gotten great over the phone advice and Knowledgable hands on Representiices

Perfect MGB. I inherited my Uncles when he passed last fall. It’s a Tartan Red 65 that’s stock other than the Miata transmission upgrade and a snotty exhaust. I love driving it.

Bought my ‘52 TD when I was 16., my first car. Still have it at 66. I understand your attachment to your MGB.

Great story! Thanks. I get the MGB following you around during your life. Mine has been in my life since I was 12 in 1965 shortly after I read Don Stanford's The Red Car. I bought it the red B from my grandfather in 1977 and drove it back to MN from the Bay Area. Major mechanical refurbishment last year finds the car totally reliable with an OD trans. Ready for some real trips. Unfortunately, I don't have occasion to drive it much and find getting in and out is more of a challenge. Still hard to get serious about selling it, but maybe someone else should enjoy it now. We will see.

Lovely car I have a 1968 MGC which is the same colour, Snowberry White I think. I have owned 7 MGBs 1 1953 MGTF and another 1968 mineral blue MGC since 1970

Good to see Moss is making another MGB video.

Gorgeous car. A minor pedantic point: Switches are “toggle” not “rocker”.

That MG Grateful Dead Stealie decal - where ever did Tim get that? I'd love to find one.

So how much is that car worth on today's market? I bought a brand new 73 Roadster and still have it to this day. It looks like a one-year-old car in really good shape. All original 65, 000 miles. Anybody want to guess what I can sell that car for?

Lovely car. Prefer it with the original steel wheels and octagonal speaker.
