the "i love my audience" is KEY. its the only thing you need. look at your audience before speaking or starting and just actually speak in your mind that you love them! it works trust me.. i love public speaking

Thank you 🙏 I get anxiety during my performances and I’ve been performing for over 8 yrs and I couldn’t quite figure out why. The phrase, ‘I love my audience.’ Is something that I feel will help me perform much better.

I had a stage fright when I was young, I felt anxious (I only like it when someone's on stage with me), I'm diagnosed with Autism and I may get sensitive sometimes (to other people having sad feelings or feeling depressed), now I'm a teen.... I dunno if I have this problem now, and thanks for the advice.... I know everyone will cheer for me, and I'm still wanting to be a celebrity.... *sniffs and whips off tears* 😌😌😌😌😌

So I had to give a short introduction about my business at a network meeting. It wasn’t in front of hundreds of people actually less than 10, but I was super nervous having bombed at the last 2 meetings. I was told by a few people who do public speaking that it’s easier to speak in front of a large crowd then a small group of people so that didn’t help either. I didn’t come prepared because I thought notes would be overkill since I wouldn’t be talking for very long and it was about my own business something I’m very familiar with. Well, I did ok. The only part I didn’t like about it was that my voice was so shaky that I’m certain they knew I was nervous! That’s what causes me the most anxiety about public speaking, not the rejection just people perceiving my fright. I watched your video right before going inside and I was very late because I was hanging out in the parking lot trying to psych myself up to go inside. It really helped me have the courage to do it. An Amazing thing happened after that day, I suddenly felt more confidence in myself in other situations that used to cause me anxiety. It was like once I conquered my greatest fear, all the lessers fears seemed so petty. I started going up to the really hot girls in the club with no residual nervousness. After having such terrible stage fright and getting through it to the other side where there is no stage fright made me see that fear is just a thin black curtain that you need to go right through to get to freedom! Thanks again!
