You know that you’re just missing a required attachment… Potentially damaging customers cars.
You simply need a jack adapter called a “Pinch weld jack pad”

All the 2 post lifts I've used have the notched rubber pad for the pinch welds. Pinch welds are fine for lifting until the rockers rust away.😅

Looks good to me. Sounds like an old timer complaining about advancments to me.

And yet the car will sit on that lift undamaged forever.

I'm 21 in 2024, in 2018 when I was a junior in HS in North Dakota in the middle of a Snow Storm it bent.

Sounds like this guy is too old. The cars are manufactured in the plant and carried by robots on those jack points.

It's not even rolled and pressed. It's two pieces. Geez. If it was rolled and pressed it would be extremely strong. Engineering isn't physical Engineering, it's economic Engineering.

Brother it's been done that way for decades and that vehicle is probably safer than anything old school

Use the tire plate lift point attachments instead.
Universal.

I mean I had a car like that and the jack that came with it had a cutout for the lip and pressed against the frame around the lip.
