for hex bolt top you can use groove command itself. the power input revolve command takes more time.

I am getting an error that the center curve doesn't lie on the reference surface even though I have placed the point for the helix the same distance from the axis as the radius. Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this? Thank you for the video! Very helpful !

Thank you so much for this video, was a great help. I realized you can also do it the other way round. create the screw with the core diameter and then use a fin command in combination with the helix command. :)

But the thing is, i hav seen an option named "Thread & Tap" and want to know weather it is there for creating thread or is it something else? Quite good and helpful video.
however, when i try to create a nut profile by taking the line at 30degree as you said and use the Groove command it leaves behind only the portion of the head which is to be cut. rest of the screw is gone.   

Why is it happening so ?
