I liked Mike Davis. He made some very important theory points on the inability of capitalism to respond to COVID. His grasp of American political history that occurred before he was born occasionally left something to be desired, but anyone attempting to conceptualize Marxism in a way that moves beyond the time he was born. He’s been on 2 of the podcasts I listen to in the past month and does a decent job of explaining why the Fed’s interest rate hikes are ludicrous in a way that’s easy to understand (though I doubt he’ll be as frank on a television talk show as he is on a podcast). He has that need to oversimplify things at times, because he’s an east coast Jewish economics professor that explains things in a cadence and style that’s only used by east coast Jewish economics professors, but it’s about the only place one can find dissent in American monetary policy that makes any sense! Thank you so much Professor!
