Data secure de-duplication and recovery based on public key encryption with keyword search is a promising technology for secure cloud storage. It allows cloud users to encrypt their data before uploading it to the cloud, while still enabling them to efficiently search and retrieve their data. The number of users and the data stored in cloud is increasing exponentially day by day. The only way to reduce the cloud storage is data de duplication, elimination of repeated data in cloud. The data de duplication becomes more and more a necessity for cloud storage providers. A cloud storage provider could use PEKS to encrypt all of the data that is stored on its servers. This would protect the confidentiality of the data even if the cloud server were to be compromised. A cloud storage provider could use PEKS to allow users to search for their data without having to download it and decrypt it first. This would improve the performance of the cloud storage system and would also reduce the amount of bandwidth that is consumed. A cloud storage provider could use PEKS to allow users to share their data with other users without having to share the encryption keys. This would improve the security of the data and would also make it easier for users to collaborate with each other.
