Why does your engine look different than mine. I have a 2006 Ford escape. My maf is located on top. Are you working on a different type car. 01-07 escape engines dont look like that. Just asking.

Doesn't the computer need reset after installing a new sensor? I have a 2005 Ford Escape; if so, can I just pull the battery cable for a few minutes to reset the computer?

There are two types of MAF sensors available in description. Price is different but it shows both will fit in 2012 Ford escape. What's the difference between both sensors beside price?

This is only for the 2.3L inline-4 engine. The 3.0L V6 is completely different for the Ford Escape.

How much is that sensor & how long this will go. Do the sensor have different varieties?

You installed the wrong way. Silver side down. Look at the flow direction printed in the sensor itself
