Las misteriosas luces de Hessdalen - Hessdalen lights

Un misterioso fenómeno se sucede casi de manera regular en Noruega, con epicentro en el municipio de Holtalen, y que lleva el nombre de la región en donde puede ser visto, Hessdalen. Se trata de luces, a veces de tono blanco, y en otras ocasiones de color amarillo, pero siempre de un brillo intenso.
Conocidas como Luces de Hessdalen, estas flotan sobre el suelo y en ocasiones permanecen así por largos lapsos de tiempo, incluso más de una hora. Los primeros reportes de las misteriosas luces aparecieron en 1940, y desde entonces han sido muy comunes en la región.
Hay muchas versiones, aunque ninguna conforma del todo a la gente, sobre todo de la citada región en Noruega. De acuerdo con una versión, el fenómeno se debería a un proceso no comprendido de combustión de las nubes de polvo en el aire que, por alguna razón, tendrían una alta cantidad de escandio.
De manera bastante interesante, la teoría de una inteligencia extraterrestre detrás de las luces se ha propuesto en varias ocasiones, pero los investigadores se han negado a evaluarla hasta no descartar todas las posibles alternativas.
Cuando un fenómeno ocurre una sola vez, es natural que se vuelva inexplicable. Pero un fenómeno que ha ocurrido miles de veces a lo largo de los años ya debería haberse descifrado. Hay algo tremendamente interesante en estas luces y es la incapacidad de los científicos para explicarla tras varias décadas de estudio.

A mysterious phenomenon happens almost regularly in Norway, with its epicenter in the municipality of Holtalen, and which bears the name of the region where it can be seen, Hessdalen. These are lights, sometimes white, and sometimes yellow, but always bright.
Known as Hessdalen Lights, they float on the ground and sometimes remain so for long periods of time, even over an hour. The first reports of the mysterious lights appeared in 1940, and since then they have been very common in the region.
There are many versions, although none completely conform to the people, especially of the aforementioned region in Norway. According to one version, the phenomenon would be due to a non-understood process of combustion of clouds of dust in the air that, for some reason, would have a high amount of scandium.
Interestingly enough, the theory of an extraterrestrial intelligence behind the lights has been proposed several times, but the researchers have refused to evaluate it until all the possible alternatives have been ruled out.
When a phenomenon occurs only once, it is natural that it becomes inexplicable. But a phenomenon that has happened thousands of times over the years should have already been deciphered. There is something tremendously interesting in these lights and it is the inability of scientists to explain it after several decades of study.
