Greetings, tis I once more
I’m sick againnnnn, my cold came back for round 2
So I give you this thing that I animated in a day, it took all of yesterday lol

I’m quite proud of the symbolism in this one; y’all know I’m a sucker for symbolism-
Especially the whole Garden-of-Eden-/-fallen-angels-being-a-metaphor-for-childhood-innocence thing, even though I’m not religious

So please allow me to over-explain/give some hints to what all the stuff means cause I’ve got nothing better to do (that’s a lie, I should be doing schoolwork TvT)
Don't feel obligated to read this crap, especially if long-winded explanations ruin things for you.
Ahem.

- the bloody halo: why was it implanted in the chest? I dunno. But it’s bloody cause loss of innocence isn’t fun in most cases.

- the apple: The Apple of Knowledge, yadda yadda, all that. Why the teeth? Teeth falling out is a thing that happens when you’re a kid, and they’re bloody too.

- the sharp teeth: I dunno; funky Satan serpent allusion I suppose

- the flowers: the flower goes from a white lily (innocence, purity) to a purple iris (wisdom, intelligence) :]

- the water: the fallen angel stuff; and they fall into the water cause I felt like subverting the whole hell-is-a-pit-of-fire thing.

- the angel statue: I just think they’re neat :]

- the yellow flower: it’s an oxalis; my favorite flower heheh

- the cup: I’ve been drinking a lot of tea lately.

- the song: don’t worry much about innocence, purity, childhood whimsy, all that stuff. There are better things to concern yourself with.

However, just because I say it means a certain thing doesn’t mean it doesn’t have other meanings, but those are more personal TvT
