Heat wave like we've never experienced before in California with triple digit weather in some areas. Not wise to go hiking no matter how much experience you have. So very sad for his mom. 😥

Experienced hikers don't go hiking in 100 degree weather. Just because you've gone on a hike doesn't make you Experienced.

Unfortunately it happens every summer around here. Always the same. Hiking + heatwave ---> out of water = missing hikers.

R.I.P I have done this hike myself its very hard plus heat exhaustion is rough with not enough water. I didn't know you tim but I'm hurting to hear about your death. This trail at night is very sketchy as well as during the day very thin parts of the trail you wouldn't want to be dizzy on.
