Watch Out For This Guy Kandy Sri Lanka 🇱🇰

In today's episode, We arrived in Kandy and had a bad experience, followed by some restaurants not being honest with prices due to the financial difficulties but eventually found a great restaurant where we met some fantastic people that were super honest and friendly! :)

We always try to travel to the unknown to listen to the local's stories during the crises.

With the help of the Sri lankan community the police just arrested the 3 involved a few hours ago. There had been an overwhelming support to trace these 3 who shamed a nation that values & respects women. Thank you for letting us know and sorry for what you both had to go throgh.

As a Sri Lankan and fellow world traveler I’m extremely disgusted by this behaviour. And apologise to you deeply for having to experience this in my country. Tourism is such a big part of the Sri Lankan economy and many people depend on it. And at a time that our economy has crashed, and we should welcome all travellers with open arms, this kind of behaviour repels the few tourists that visit Sri Lanka these days.
I have traveled in many countries alone and yet never experienced this kind of behaviour in any of them… yet I’m ashamed that people of my own country treat foreign travellers this way. Please do not judge all of us because of the idiotic behaviour of a few. Thank you for visiting my country and we hope to see you again. Safe travels

Ps. I’m happy to say that the 3 people responsible have been arrested. And we hope the maximum punishment will be given to them. We want Sri Lanka to be a safe travel environment to all travellers and especially female travellers. And idiots like this need to learn that they cannot get away with such disgusting behaviour.
